HB1237 by Hopson (Relating to the designation of a portion of State Highway 21 between Weches and Crockett as the Representative James Lacey Lovell Highway.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to designate the State Highway 21 between Park Road 44 in Weches United States Highway 287 in Crockett as the Representative James Lacey Lovell Highway.

 

Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

 

The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
