No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 466, Government Code, relating to measures to protect the state from theft, lost lottery tickets, or other losses incurred by or in connection with lottery sales agents.

 

The Lottery Commission indicates it can implement the provisions of the bill within current resources.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
