No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

No new actions would be required of school districts.  School district boards of trustees or subcommittees of such boards would be granted authority to change or reject a hearing examiner’s finding of fact that good cause for termination does not exist, if the finding is contrary to board policy concerning good cause for termination
