No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

In certain situations, this bill would allow local governmental entities that provide emergency medical services to be more successful in collecting payments from potential third parties for emergency medical services provided to persons who have not paid their ambulance bills. However, the fiscal impact is not expected to be significant.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
