No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would assign, by statute, the currently unassigned Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District to the educational service area of North Harris Montgomery Community College District. This school district voted to join the college district in August, 2000. Students have been paying in-district tuition since that time.
Local Government Impact
Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
