No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, according to the Texas Education Agency.
The bill would change the time period for completion of a written individual evaluation report for special education. Under the bill, the written report would have to be completed within 60 calender days of the date the school district receives written consent from the parent to conduct the evaluation.
