HB1340 by Eissler (Relating to requiring a governmental entity that operates a toll highway or toll road in this state to permit the use of a transponder issued by another governmental entity to pay a toll for the use of the toll road or turnpike project.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.  In accordance with the bill, it is assumed that governmental entities would impose necessary fees to generate revenue sufficient to cover costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill.
