HB1420 by Hardcastle (Relating to the use of a portion of medical school tuition for student loan repayment assistance for physicians.), Committee Report 1st House, Amended

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The bill would expand the current two percent tuition set-aside for loan repayments to include non-resident tuition. This would result in an additional $196,815 of tuition set-aside for loan repayments at the eight health-related institutions, which collect tuition, and a re-distribution of General Revenue formula funding.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
