No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Texas Probate Code affecting several probate issues, including jurisdiction over probate proceedings. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

A shift in caseload in various courts would likely occur, but the fiscal impact is not expected to be significant.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
