HB1475 by Hartnett (Relating to the enforcement of an agreement between spouses to convert separate property to community property.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would clarify that if a proceeding regarding enforcement of an agreement between spouses to convert separate property into community property occurs after the death of the spouse against whom enforcement is sought, the heir of the deceased spouse or the personal representative of the estate may prove that the agreement is not enforceable.  

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
