IN RE:
HB1536 by Reyna (Relating to certain communication with and access to a child following termination of the parent-child relationship.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize a court to provide for a parent's limited post-termination contact with a child in an order terminating the parent-child relationship in certain situations. The Department of Protective and Regulatory Services indicates that the agency currently provides post-termination contact in limited situations.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
