IN RE:	HB1547 by Raymond (Relating to the eligibility of the holders of certain offices for state official license plates.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to expand the list of those eligible for State Official license plates to include district attorneys. 

 

Based on the analysis of the Department of Transportation, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.  Also, no significant fiscal implication is anticipated due to the estimated number of license plate issuances.

 

This bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
