No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would prohibit the University Interscholastic League from adopting or enforcing a rule that would prohibit or penalize a team from participating in a celebration.The language would include within the term “celebration” a dinner or party to honor the team held by the community or a public organization in the community in which the school or school district is located.
