IN RE:	HB1576 by Gallego (Relating to the telecommunications planning and oversight council. ), Conference Committee Report

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends sections 201(a) and (b) of Government Code by including a Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) representative on the Telecommunication Planning and Oversight Council (TPOC) and the appointment of a HHSC representative promptly after the bill takes effect; specifying a staggered 2-year term for TPOC members, adding November 1 as the date for submission of council’s annual report, and limiting the liability of TOPC members.
