HB1591 by Nixon (Relating to the resolution of certain contract claims against the state.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based on the analysis of the State Office of Administrative Hearings, the Building and Procurement Commission, the Department of Health, the University of Texas System Administration, the Texas A&M University System Administrative and General Offices, the Soil and Water Conservation Board, the Department of Transportation, the Texas Lottery Commission, and the Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003, and applies only to a contested case hearing commenced on or after the effective date of this bill.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
