No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The bill would require pipeline owners and operators to provide to school district copies of emergency response plans, descriptions, maps, lists of products transported in the pipeline and other information. Upon request pipeline owners and operators could be called to appear at school board meetings.

None of the bill's provisions are expected to result in additional requirements on state agencies or increase the workload of the Railroad Commission.
