HB1609 by Riddle (Relating to administration of certain oaths by an employee of a personal bond office.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Section 602.003, Government Code, to add to the situations in which an employee of a personal bond office would be authorized to administer an oath. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
