No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by allowing a court to maintain jurisdiction over a person placed on community supervision who absconds.  The bill would also define due diligence requirements.  The Office of the Attorney General and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice anticipates any work resulting from the passage of this bill could be absorbed with current services.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
