TO: | Honorable Robert Talton, Chair, House Committee on Urban Affairs |
FROM: | John Keel, Director, Legislative Budget Board |
IN RE: | HB1643 by Bailey (Relating to conditions of employment for peace officers employed by certain municipalities. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted |
If a municipality that employs peace officers and a peace officer bargaining committee were to meet and confer, the costs to the municipality would be for staff and staff time. If an agreement is reached, the agreement itself would dictate any other fiscal impact.
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
