No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure as it relates to the disposition of seized weapons.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. The county forensic laboratory may incur minimal costs for transport and storage of the equipment they would be eligible to receive.
