No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to add statutory probate courts to those courts which may approve a transfer of payment rights under certain structured settlements.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
