IN RE:	HB1694 by Chavez (Relating to training in gerontology for certain health care practitioners. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require agencies that regulate health care practitioners to approve training in gerontology as continuing education and notify license holders of the training.

It is anticipated that state agencies licensing health care providers could absorb the costs associated with the bill within current resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
