HB1791 by Chisum (Relating to restrictions on the commercial composting of certain solid wastes.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The bill would prohibit the commercial composting of grease, fat, oil, or wax unless a person demonstrates to the commission that the biological decomposition process that will be employed at the composting facility will decompose those wastes into products that have value as nutrients or soil amendments.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
