No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would create a presumption of paternity if, during the first two years of a child's life, the man presumed to be the father of a child continuously resided in the household in which the child resided and represented to others that the child was his own. The bill would limit standing in a proceeding to adjudicate parentage after the child reaches adulthood. The bill would have no significant impact to the State. The bill would be effective on September 1, 2003.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
