HB1975 by Deshotel (Relating to providing a physical address for an application or ballot to be delivered to the early voting clerk.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Election Code to add that an applicant may not use an application form that is furnished to the applicant unless the application form is printed or stamped with the clerk's physical address if it differs from the official mailing address.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Local governmental entities will incur minimal costs to stamp or print the required language onto the application forms and carrier envelopes.
