HB1997 by Gutierrez (Relating to the regulation of electric personal assistive mobility devices.), As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based on the analysis by the Texas Department of Transportation, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.   

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
