No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow civilian employees or volunteers of law enforcement agencies to assist law enforcement officers with temporary care of children until other custodial arrangements can be made. The Department of Public Safety and the Department of Protective and Regulatory Services indicate no significant impact. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
