HB2075 by Hilderbran (Relating to regulating health and safety conditions at youth camps. ), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend sections of Chapter 141 of the Health and Safety Code relating to the regulation of youth camps.  The bill would amend Section 141.016 to eliminate the reimbursement of expenses incurred by advisory committee members.  Section 141.016 would be amended to set the administrative penalty accessed to youth camps for violations to no more than $1,000 a day for each violation.  

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

 

No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated because TDH indicated that the agency could implement the provisions of this bill with existing appropriations.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
