No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would repeal Section 37.107, Education Code which establishes the offense of trespass on school grounds and makes the offense punishable as a Class C misdemeanor. The bill would also delete a reference to the provision to be repealed from a provision relating to the voluntary school attendance of a person 18 years or older.
