HB2153 by Denny (Relating to filing a voting system equipment contract with the secretary of state.), As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Election Code by requiring a contract for voting system equipment be submitted to the Secretary of State for approval.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.  Local governmental entities would incur minimal delivery costs to submit the voting system contracts to the Secretary of State's Office.
