No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Labor Code to require the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission to adopt a rule that sets a timeframe for disputes regarding certification of maximum medical improvement and assignment of impairment ratings.

Based on the analysis by the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission, the agency indicates it could absorb the  costs associated with the bill within its current resources.
