No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family Code and the Transportation Code relating to terroristic threats, false alarms or reports, or bomb hoaxes as a basis for driver license suspensions or denials for certain juveniles. According the the Department of Public Safety, the additional suspensions or denials generated under the bill would have no significant fiscal implication to the department. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
