No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

If enacted, the provisions of the bill are not expected to have a significant fiscal impact on the public safety worker benefits program administered by the Employees Retirement System (ERS); however, ERS is unable to determine how many additional persons would qualify for the death benefits.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
