HB2243 by Smith, Wayne (Relating to the application of the open meetings law and the public information law to meetings and information regarding certain security plans of a municipal hospital, a hospital district, or a health department.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would except from the requirements of the public information law meetings and information regarding security plans of a municipal hospital, a hospital district, or a health department for protecting facilities or operations from an act of terrorism.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2003.
