No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill amends language in the Agriculture Code to clarify the Department of Agriculture's quarantine procedures in order to put TDA more in line with USDA standards. The legislation specifies that TDA notify the Governor's Office and cooperate with this office regarding each quarantine that it adopts. 

The agency indicates that similar functions are currently performed and any additional costs can be absorbed within current resources.
