No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Utilities Code to allow a political subdivision aggregator access to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) portal.  The Public Utility Commission indicates it could absorb the costs associated with the bill within its current resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. There is no cost to access the ERCOT data.
