HB2340 by Turner (Relating to metering services provided to certain electricity customers.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Utilities Code to restrict the provision of competitive metering services to     large commercial and industrial customers, rather than all commercial and industrial customers.     The Public Utility Commission indicates it could absorb the minor rulemaking costs associated     with this bill within the agency's exisiting resources.
