No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill amends the Utilities Code to require a retail electric provider that pays a franchise fee and passes the charge to its customers to list the amount of the fee applicable to the customer as a separate line item on the customer's bill. The Public Utility Commission indicates it could absorb the rulemaking costs associated with the bill within its current resources.
