HB2376 by Elkins (Relating to the correction or removal from the statutes of obsolete references regarding the surety bonds of state officers and employees.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill removes statutory language regarding the filing of surety bonds by state officers and employees that is now obsolete pursuant to the passage of House Bill 1203 by the 77th Legislature.  House Bill 1203 removed the requirement for the posting of surety bonds for state officers and employees.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
