By changing the required inspection from a three-year rotation to a four-year rotation the agency anticipates needing 4.5 less FTEs in 2004 to do inspections for a savings of $247,917and 9.5 less FTEs in 2005 and each subsequent year for savings of $475,000 a year.
Savings associated with provisions of the bill have been taken into account in the development of House Bill 1.
