No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Health and Safety Code, Chapter 247, section 247.030(b) to require those facilities classified by the Board of Human Services as converting to "a large Type B facility" to conform to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 101 standards that the Department of Human Services designates for assisted living facilities.
