No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would address issues relating to local control of police officer employment matters in a municipality with a population of one million or more that has not adopted Chapter 143 or Chapter 174, Local Government Code. Currently, the bracket applies only to the City of Dallas.

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
