IN RE: | HB2471 by Kuempel (Relating to fees in connection with waterfowl and wetland conservation special license plates.), As Introduced |
The bill would amend the Transportation Code to reduce fees to $25 for the original issuance, renewal, and replacement of lost, stolen, or mutilated specially designed waterfowl and wetland conservation license plates for passenger cars and light trucks. Available balances for the Waterfowl and Wetland Conservation License Plates account No. 5057, as reported in the Comptroller’s 2002 Annual Cash Report, were $63,407.
No significant fiscal implication is anticipated due to the estimated number of license plate issuances.
