No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Property Code relating to inverse condemnation cases. The bill would add provisions relating to inverse condemnation case jurisdiction and procedure. The bill would take immediate effect if the bill receives two-thirds the vote of members of each house; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
