No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 166 of the Health and Safety Code to prohibit a parent, guardian or managing conservator of a minor child from executing an Out-of-Hospital Do Not Resuscitate order on the minor child unless the minor has been diagnosed by a physician as suffering from a terminal or irreversible condition.
