IN RE:	HB2566 by Paxton (Relating to community evaluation of applications for low income housing tax credits.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add to the list of criteria that would make an application ineligible for consideration under the low income housing tax credit program. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003 and would apply only to an application submitted to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) on or after that date.

According to analysis submitted by TDHCA, there would be no fiscal impact to the state or to units of local government.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
