IN RE:	HB2618 by Ellis (Relating to the provision of state flags on the death of certain current or former custodial employees of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and fire protection employees.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to include current or former custodial employees of the Department of Criminal Justice and fire protection employees in the provision of those eligible to have their next of kin receive Texas flags upon their death. The bill would not have a significant fiscal impact on the operations of state government.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
