No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, based on analyses by the Texas Education Agency.
The bill would require that a teacher’s professional work environment include reasonable authority to visit the restroom as needed, access to a personal telephone or district-provided telephone in the classroom if available, and reasonable accommodation of personal needs such as having a beverage available while instructing and determining how to arrange the classroom and deliver instruction.
