No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, based on analyses by the Texas Education Agency.
The bill would establish procedures for recommendation and notice prior to an action to terminate an educational support employee or suspend the employee without pay. The bill would require that a person who proposes to terminate an educational support employee or suspend the employee without pay submit a written recommendation including all the reasons for the action to the superintendent.
