HB2685 by Denny (Relating to the due diligence required of a supervision officer, police officer, or other officer with the power of arrest in regards to a warrant issued by a judge for the violation of any of the conditions of community supervision.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by assigning responsibility for compliance with the terms and conditions of community supervision solely with the probationer.  The bill would also define due diligence in regards to community supervision. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice anticipates no significant fiscal impact from the provisions of this bill. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
